I always start any makeup application with a cleansed, toned and moisturized face. Then I either slather on Le Blanc de Chanel if my skin is a bit dull or Dr Brandt pore refining primer if I feel especially ‘pore-y’ and occasionally a combination of both. Then I typically use either Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet or my new found favourite - Dior Nude Air serum foundation. The serum is super light and blends so seamlessly with a Real Techniques stipple brush or even fingers! Depending on how much time I have (if I’ve spent too long engrossed in Tumblr in bed) or the occassion, I contour slightly with a matte bronzer or foundation stick but I always, no matter what, wear a smudge of Nars’ Copacobana multi on my cheek bones. To finish off a quick dusting of Chanel’s Vitalumiere powder or Double Perfection powder with the Sephora mineral powder brush (so plush & soft) and I’m good to move on to brows/lips/eyes!
