I’ve had a hand cream obsession for as long as I remember, it’s basically hereditary, since my mum’s also affected by this ‘conditioning condition’. Rough cuticles and dry hands are such big NO NOs for me. I am now at the stage where I have a hand balm/cream in every bag and next to every sink in the house, get in to the habit of dabbing a little on after every time you wash your hands (except for before food prep) and your hands will thank you, now and in 20 years.
Some of my tried and true hand conditioning products are: Natio Wellness handwash - a really nice and rich hand wash with a beautiful calming smell that does not dry your hands out at all, Crabtree&Evelyn Pomegranate Hand Recovery- super conditioning and softening scrub for that EXTRA tlc, Crabtree&Evelyn Hand Therapy - I bought one of each scent while it was on special in NY and gave them as a gift to my mum, I’ve kept her rejects ahha, Aesop Reverence Hand Balm - Ranted enough about this, Grown Alchemist Orange and Vanilla Hand Cream - Definitely one of my all time favourites, L’occitane mini hand creams - perfectly sized for on the go, Bath & Bodyworks hand sanitizer - picked a few of these up while in the states and I’ve been hooked, they smell so decadent(once had a friend ask if I’ve put perfume before tucking into my dinner) and are lightly moisturising.
